Delta Dental of New Mexico (DDNM) has been serving the oral health needs of New Mexicans since 1971. As a not-for-profit organization, each year, a portion of their residuals goes back into communities across New Mexico.
This year, DDNM has announced a new small community impact grant program called Smiles Across New Mexico. Through this program, DDNM hopes to provide grants to organizations across New Mexico to promote the oral health of New Mexicans.
Objectives of the program include:
- Reducing oral disease through education, prevention, and treatment.
- Ensuring access to affordable, timely, and high-quality dental care.
- Enhancing the awareness of good oral health with a focus on children and socially vulnerable populations.
- Making a measurable difference in the oral health and wellness of New Mexicans.
- Ensure New Mexico is among the states with the highest indicators of oral health.
DDNM’s CEO, Lou Volk III, said “Programs like this allow us to assist and foster relationships with outstanding organizations across all communities in New Mexico.”
DDNM will be accepting applications from August 1st, 2024, to October 31st, 2024.
