Waiting rooms aren’t the most exciting place to be, but you can incorporate crafts and games to keep the kiddos entertained. Here are 3 ways you can make your waiting room full of fun:
1. Toothy Coloring Pages
Coloring pages are an easy way to keep kids entertained while they wait for the dentist. Stock your waiting room with some dental-themed coloring pages and coloring tools.
Bonus: Coloring can also relieve stress for anxious adults. Download free adult coloring pages here.
2. Tic-Tac-Tooth
A classic game with a dental twist is just what your waiting room needs! Download the printable materials here and keep them stocked in your waiting room. You can store the boards in a folder and the pieces in plastic bags.
3. Battletooth
This dental spin-off of the classic game, “Battleship” can be made with just a couple of materials. Download our printable Battletooth pages and instructions here.
4. Floss the Carton
This is an easy craft that you can put together with just a few materials. The goal is to teach kids the importance of flossing.
What you need:
• Egg cartons, cut in half (the “teeth”)
• Pipe cleaners (the “floss”)
• Play dough (the “food”)
Instructions:
1. Put a small amount of play dough in between each carton.
2. Use the pipe cleaner to scrape it out.

The materials can be kept in a bin in the waiting room with instructions or kept at the front and handed out as needed.
